Marino’s Body Shop Physique Transformations

Since joining Marino’s Body Shop 15 months ago, I’ve dropped 34 pounds, 12% body fat, and 3 dress sizes. At age 43, I am stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. I have more energy, sleep better, feel better, and find myself well equipped to deal with daily stress. Chris, Rachael, and the entire staff at MBS are welcoming, encouraging, supportive, and friendly. They continuously and gently nudge me in the right direction (and forcefully shove when that’s what I need!). With Rachael’s help, I have cleaned up my diet and learned to make healthier, protein inclusive food choices. I attribute much of my weight loss to what I call the “No C’s” diet… no cocktails, no cookies, no candy, no chips, no CRAP! I’ve learned that, in spite of my life’s hectic, whirlwind pace, healthy eating and exercise must be a priority for me. In MBS’s metabolic conditioning class, I can expect a challenging workout that’s different every time. I am able to exercise in a group setting, which I prefer, yet still have my own set of individualized goals and progress tracking. I couldn’t be happier and am so grateful that I found Marino’s Body Shop!

Training at Marino’s body shop helped me transform my body as well as my perspective. When my 2nd daughter was 3 months old I decided I was really ready to get rid of the baby weight and I needed help. Chris, Rachael & Justin taught me a lot about fitness and nutrition and I’m able to take what I’ve learned and apply it to the decisions that I make every day. With their help & guidance, I lost 15.25 inches, 21 lbs. and 9.2% body fat.

I stay OFF the scale and work on making positive choices that will help me meet my individual goals. The support that is offered at Marino’s body shop is what makes it work. The other clients as well as the trainers make it a fun (even though challenging) workout.

My time at the body shop has been my first really positive experience with fitness and training!! Thanks Chris, Rachael & Justin!!!

I wanted to offer my sincere thanks for helping me accomplish some amazing results during this 60-day challenge. When I received my results at the wrap-up meeting, I was absolutely shocked. While I could feel a difference in my clothes (I went down 2 pants sizes!), I had no idea that I had shed 21.25 inches, and 5.1% body fat! I was especially excited to see that I lost 9 inches in my waist alone.

While I’ve learned that ultimately, my health is up to the daily choices I make, I would never have been able to accomplish these results without your knowledge and support. Through your encouragement in boot camp, I’ve learned to reach for the bigger weights, because I’m stronger than I think I am. Through your guidance, I’ve learned how to plan and manage my “feedings”, as well as which activities outside of Boot Camp will be most helpful in accomplishing my goals. Through your constant communication via email updates, blog posts, and Facebook posts, I felt supported the entire time; one of them always seemed to hit me when I needed it most! Because I stayed off the scale, I was able to focus on the changes in my body and didn’t allow myself to be sidetracked by that number staring back at me on the scale.

Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put in to building a program that provides the opportunity for someone like me to experience this kind of success. I’ve lost weight before, but this time, I know I’ve gotten rid of it…I don’t plan on ever finding it again!
